Welcome to Southern Cross Lodge 

Southern Cross Lodge is located in Methven, the alpine town linked to Mt Hutt Ski Field, being just over an hour’s drive from Christchurch. Our Methven accommodation has 49 rooms, include a mixture of studio and family lodge rooms.

We pride ourselves on being family friendly and cater for a wide range of group bookings including school, business, community or social groups.

Southern Cross Lodge facilities include a cosy lounge and bar with fireplace (great for the colder months), pool tables, a common/function/training room, large indoor BBQ and an outdoor pool and spa.

Our accommodation is conveniently located a short walk from Methven town centre and across the road from New Zealand’s newest hot pools, Opuke Thermal Pool & Spa. As our guests you can receive a 10% discount for the pools, T&Cs apply.
